It upgraded the note-taking program with a bunch of new features and bundled it with Office installs a year later. Microsoft originally intended to kill the OneNote app when the one for Windows 10 became available, but it changed its plans and revived the app in 2019. Microsoft will update the OneNote app with features currently exclusive to its counterpart pre-installed on Windows 10, though, and it will also give the program a visual refresh. At the moment, there are two versions people can use: The OneNote app installed with Office and the OneNote for Windows 10 app available in the Microsoft Store. When Send to OneNote opens in the Store app, click Get.When prompted with “Did you mean to switch apps?” click Yes.If the PDF is large, it may take a moment for it to be embedded in your notes. Any changes you make to one won't be applied to the other. Remember that the attachment is a copy of the original and isn't linked to it.
Select the arrows next to the headings in the box to navigate to your file. Tip: If you don't see the file you're looking for, you can sort by name, change the location, or go up in the folder structure.
You can insert a file as an attachment so you can open a copy of the file in OneNote. Inserting a file into OneNote for Windows 10 makes it easy to keep all your notes organized.
